WPL 2025 Final: ,Mumbai Indians defeated Gujarat Giants by 47 runs in the eliminator match played at the Brabourne Stadium on Thursday. Chasing a target of 214 runs, Gujarat were all out for 166 in 19.2 overs. Mumbai have entered the final by winning this match. The team will face Delhi Capitals Women in the final to be played on the 15th.
Giants skipper Ashley Gordon won the toss and elected to bowl first. Batting first, Mumbai scored 213 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. Hayley Mathews and Nat Sciver Brunt made 77 runs each for the team. The two added an explosive 133 runs in 71 balls for the second wicket. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur finished with a 12-ball 36 with 2 fours and 4 sixes. Daniel Gibson took two wickets, and Kashvi Gautam took one wicket. In reply, Gujarat Giants were all out for 166 in 19.2 overs. Daniel Gibson scored 34, Phoebe Litchfield 31 and Bharti Phulmali 30. For the victorious Mumbai, Hayley Mathews took three wickets while Amelia Kerr took two and Shabnam Ismail took one wicket.
