PM Kisan: 22nd Installment money when will come in the farmers’ account? know
PM Kisan Yojana: The central government is running the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to increase the income of millions of farmers across the country. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive financial assistance of ₹6,000 every year. This amount is transferred directly to the farmers’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
The government has released 21 installments under this scheme so far. Recently, on November 19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 21st installment from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. In this installment, an amount of approximately ₹18,000 crore was transferred to the accounts of more than 9 crore farmers. In total, more than ₹4 lakh crore has been disbursed to farmers under this scheme. Now, farmers are wondering when they will receive the next, the 22nd, installment.
What is the PM Kisan scheme?
Under the PM Kisan scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹2,000 every four months. This means the money is disbursed three times a year:
April–July
August–November
December–March
In this way, farmers receive a total of ₹6,000 in assistance throughout the year. This scheme was announced in the 2019 interim budget and later implemented nationwide. Today, it has become one of the world’s largest direct benefit transfer (DBT) schemes.
