What is a Sovereign Gold Bond? Sovereign Gold Bonds are investment certificates issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). They don’t require physical investment in gold. With Sovereign Gold Bonds, you purchase gold through certificates issued by the government, making them a safe and convenient option.

The value of your gold increases with market fluctuations. Therefore, investors view it as a stable and profitable investment. Furthermore, being recognized by the Government of India increases its reliability and security significantly.

Investors prefer Sovereign Gold Bonds over physical gold because of the additional interest they earn on their investments. Physical gold investments don’t earn interest. The RBI pays interest to investors at regular intervals.
