1 December 2025 New Rules: With the start of December, some rules have changed, which will directly impact your pocket. These changes include everything from gas prices to banking regulations and many LIC-related rules. These changes will impact your savings.
LPG Gas Price Changes: LPG gas prices have been revised today. While the price of a 14 kg gas cylinder remains unchanged, the price of commercial gas has been reduced by 10 rupees. Last month, the price of commercial gas cylinders was reduced by 5 rupees. Domestic gas prices have remained unchanged for the past eight months.
Life Certificates Required for Pensioners: Senior pensioners had until November 30th to submit their life certificates. If pensioners fail to submit their certificates by early December, their pensions will be stopped starting in January.
CNG and PNG prices: Today, along with LPG, the prices of CNG and PNG have also changed. ATF, used as aviation fuel, has become $864.81 per liter.
Banks will be closed for 18 days in December: According to the RBI holiday calendar, banks will be closed for approximately 18 days in December, including Sundays, the second and fourth Saturdays, and festivals.
Changes in Card Rules and Online Banking: Earning today, many banks and financial institutions are implementing changes to digital banking and card-related rules. These include changes to UPI transaction limits, new security features in net banking, changes to ATM transaction charges, increases or decreases in credit and debit card fees, and changes to forex card rules.
Aadhaar Card Redesign: UIDAI is implementing changes to the Aadhaar card starting 1st December. Now, the Aadhaar card will only display the holder’s photo and a QR code. Consequently, personal information such as name, address, and 12-digit Aadhaar number will no longer be displayed on the card.
