Silver Rates Decline on Monday, February 9
Silver Slips at Week’s Start as Prices Ease on February 9: On Monday, the first day of the week, silver prices declined. In the spot market, the price of silver is approximately ₹4,000 lower than the previous closing price. In Delhi, the price of silver is ₹2,84,900. On February 9, silver prices saw a recovery in the international market. Prices rose by about 4.9%, trading above $80 per ounce. Following the decline, investors bought at lower levels. Industrial demand is also supporting the prices.
In India, however, the picture was slightly different. On Friday, silver futures settled at ₹249,499 per kilogram, down 0.16% from the previous close. Earlier, prices had slipped to around ₹230,000 due to global cues. Selling pressure and high volatility persist in the market.
