Silver price drops by Rs 25,000 today; Know the latest rate: Silver prices in India witnessed a sharp decline on Friday, following a similar drop on Thursday. The price of silver in India fell by ₹25 per gram to ₹275 per gram. Similarly, the price of 1 kilogram of silver fell by ₹25,000 on Thursday, reaching ₹2,75,000 per kilogram.

Silver continues to slide: Silver rates also saw a significant drop on the MCX (Multi-Commodity Exchange). Silver futures (with March expiry) fell to a low of ₹2,39,000 per kilogram during intraday trading. Experts had already predicted that gold and silver prices were likely to remain volatile on Friday, February 6th. Some experts believe that the decline in prices in the precious metals market may continue for some time.

Chennai, Madurai, Vijayawada, Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam, Salem:
₹2,800 (10g), ₹28,000 (100g), ₹2,80,000 (1 kg)

Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Nagpur, Patna, Ayodhya:
₹2,750 (10g), ₹27,500 (100g), ₹2,75,000 (1 kg)

Global factors also affected prices. The US government shutdown ended after a spending deal. Chinese gold ETFs saw heavy outflows, while geopolitical developments involving the US, China, Russia, and Iran added to market uncertainty.
