Silver Drops ₹10,000 in a Single Move, Check Today’s 1 kg Price in Your City: On Tuesday, the second trading day of the week, gold and silver prices fell again. Gold and silver futures contracts on the MCX declined during this period. Investors are cautious as a labor market report on January’s job situation in the US will be released on Wednesday. Furthermore, inflation data will be released on Friday, which could impact Federal Reserve policy in the future.
In today’s trading session, MCX silver futures with March 5, 2026, expiry fell 2%, or ₹4,905, to ₹2,57,715 per kg. Similarly, gold futures for April 2 delivery fell ₹2,005, or 2%, to ₹1,56,001 per 10 grams.

Silver is being sold at ₹290,000 per kilogram in many cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Pune, and Vadodara. However, in Chennai, Hyderabad, Madurai, Vijayawada, and Bhubaneswar, the price of silver is ₹300,000 per kilogram today. After a ₹15,000 rise in prices yesterday, today’s ₹10,000 drop is a relief for buyers. Previously, after the budget, silver prices fell by ₹50,000 on February 2nd. Subsequently, they fell by ₹20,000 and ₹25,000 on February 5th and 6th, respectively.
