PM Kisan 22nd Installment: When Will Farmers Get ₹2,000? Know all the Details
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched in 2019. The scheme has so far directly benefited crores of farmers. Now, with the beginning of the new year, the eyes of the farmers are fixed on the 22nd installment of PM Kisan Yojana. Everyone wants to know when the next installment will come and what to watch out for.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is provided annually to eligible farmers. This amount is transferred directly to farmers’ bank accounts in three installments of Rs 2,000 each. The objective of this scheme is to make small and marginal farmers economically stronger so that they can meet their basic needs related to farming.
According to government data, farmers have received 21 installments of the scheme so far. More than 9 crore farmers have been directly benefited through these installments. The government has so far transferred about 18 thousand crore rupees to the farmers’ accounts.
Now the farmers are waiting for the 22nd installment. It is expected that this installment will be released in February 2026. However, the government has not announced any official date yet. If we look at the previous pattern, one installment is released every four months, based on which the next installment is likely to come.
