22nd PM Kisan Payment Date: Is February the Big Month for Farmers?
PM Kisan 22nd Installment: Will Farmers Receive ₹2,000 in February? Millions of farmers across the country are once again eagerly awaiting the next installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The biggest question is whether this installment will be released in February. New information has emerged regarding the date of the next ₹2,000 installment from the government. It is expected that this amount will be transferred to farmers’ accounts in February 2026. There is talk that the next installment may be released after February 25, 2026.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has not yet announced the official date for the 22nd installment. However, there is speculation that this installment may be released in the last week of February or early March 2026. It should be noted that the 21st installment was previously transferred to farmers’ accounts on November 19, 2025. Therefore, it is anticipated that the next installment may be released soon, given the stipulated interval. Farmers are advised to check their e-KYC, bank account, and Aadhaar linking status in advance to avoid any problems receiving the installment.
Why is e-KYC necessary for farmers?
The government has made e-KYC mandatory to ensure transparency in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and to remove fraudulent beneficiaries. Farmers who do not complete the e-KYC process may face delays in receiving their next installment.
A total of ₹6,000 is disbursed in three installments: the amount is divided into three equal installments, with ₹2,000transferred directly to their bank account every four months via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
