Planning a Bank Visit? Check This Week’s Closure Schedule: Tomorrow, February 9, marks the start of the second week of February. If you are planning any bank-related work in the coming days, it is important to take note of the bank holiday schedule for the week. According to the official calendar, banks across the country will remain closed for only two days this week.
Banks will be closed on February 14, which is the second Saturday of the month, and again on February 15, which falls on a Sunday. On all other days of the week, bank branches will function as usual.
Earlier, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) released the official list of bank holidays for February. As per this list, there are around nine bank holidays in total this month, applicable to both government and private sector banks, including the State Bank of India (SBI). These holidays are observed in accordance with RBI guidelines.
Bank Holidays Next Week:
February 14 (Saturday): Banks will remain closed across India due to the second Saturday
February 15 (Sunday): Banks will remain closed due to the weekly holiday
