LPG gas cylinders have become ₹50 more expensive on 1st February, Know the details: On February 1, ahead of the Union Budget, oil marketing companies, Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum increased the price of commercial LPG gas cylinders by ₹50. This price hike will mainly affect hotels, restaurants, and other businesses that use commercial cylinders. However, there has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders, which are used by households.

According to the official website of Indian Oil, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has increased to ₹1,740.50 from February 1. In Mumbai, the same cylinder now costs ₹1,692. In Kolkata, the price has gone up to ₹1,844.50, while in Chennai, it is now priced at ₹1,899.50.

Government-owned oil marketing companies revise LPG cylinder prices on the first day of every month. Earlier in January, the prices of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders were also increased. However, during November and December last year, prices were reduced by ₹5 and ₹10 respectively, giving some relief to consumers at that time.

Meanwhile, there is good news for the aviation sector. The price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) has been reduced from February 1, 2026. In Delhi, the price of one kiloliter of ATF has come down to $778.85, compared to $791.48 earlier. In Indian currency, 1,000 liters of ATF now costs ₹91,393.39, down from ₹92,323.02.

In Kolkata, ATF is now priced at $817.19 or ₹94,445.62 per kiloliter. In Mumbai, the new price is $778.56 or ₹85,474.63, while in Chennai, ATF costs $774.26 or ₹94,781.99 per kiloliter.
