Gold Rate Today: Gold prices in the domestic futures market are showing a slight decline on Monday, December 29.  On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the gold futures contract expiring on February 5, 2026, opened at ₹1,39,808 (per 10 grams) on Monday. ​​On the last trading day, gold had closed at ₹1,39,873 on the MCX.

At 11:05 AM on December 29, the February 5th expiry gold contract was trading at ₹1,39,825 on the MCX, representing a decline of approximately ₹50 from the previous day’s closing price. The MCX gold contract had reached a high of ₹1,40,444 in early trading.
