Aggressive profit-booking by investors at higher levels, weakness in global markets, and a strengthening US dollar exerted significant pressure on the precious metals.

Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata: Currently, the price of 22-karat gold is ₹155,090 per 10 grams, while the price of 24-karat gold is ₹169,190 per 10 grams.
