Gold price drops by Rs 5,000 in one day; silver price also falls: The bullion market is experiencing significant volatility. On Thursday, silver prices plummeted in the futures market, and gold also became considerably cheaper. At 10:27 AM, the March delivery contract for silver was down 9.03 percent compared to the previous session, falling by approximately ₹36,000 to ₹244,562 per kilogram. At the same time, the price of gold for the April delivery contract declined 1.27 percent from the previous session, settling at ₹151,106 per 10 grams.

According to GoodReturns, the price of gold in Delhi today is ₹15,457 per gram for 24-karat gold, ₹14,170 per gram for 22-karat gold, and ₹11,597 per gram for 18-karat gold.
