A weaker US dollar and a strong trend in global markets have boosted prices. The US dollar has fallen to its lowest level in the last four years.

Gold Price in Delhi: The price of 24-karat gold in Delhi is ₹167,240 per 10 grams. The price of 22-karat gold is ₹153,310 per 10 grams.

Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata: Currently, the price of 22-karat gold in Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata is ₹153,160 per 10 grams, while the price of 24-karat gold is ₹167,090 per 10 grams.

Pune and Bengaluru: In these two cities, the price of 24-karat gold is ₹167,090 per 10 grams and the price of 22-karat gold is ₹153,160 per 10 grams.

The US central bank, the Federal Reserve, kept interest rates unchanged at its January meeting. Fed Chairman Jerome Powell said the US economy remains strong, with low risks to both inflation and employment. This outlook suggests a long wait before any further cuts to borrowing costs. Following their two-day meeting, policymakers on the Federal Open Market Committee voted 10-2 to keep the benchmark interest rate in the range of 3.50%-3.75%.
