Odisha Budget 2026-27: ₹10,145 crores for Subhadra Yojana
Budget of ₹10,145 crores for Subhadra Yojana: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday said that a major step has been taken in the Budget 2026-27 to ensure the social and economic security of women and children of Odisha. The state government is giving importance to women’s empowerment, he said.
Presenting the budget for the next fiscal year, he said in the House that a huge fund has been provided to make women self-reliant and lead a dignified life. Along with this, special emphasis has been given to eliminate malnutrition among pregnant women, adolescents, and children, and necessary facilities have been ensured for the transformation of Anganwadi centers and pre-school education of children. The main objective of this budget is to build a strong and prosperous society through the good health of mothers and children and the empowerment of women.

-₹1,280 crore from the state government for ICDS
-₹635 crore for Samruddha Anganwadi Yojana
-₹552 crore for Mukhyamantri Sampurna Pushti Yojana
-₹111 crore for Malati Devi Pre-School Wear Yojana
