BSNL Reduced ₹99 Plan Validity
BSNL Reduced Plan Validity: Telecom company BSNL has once again reduced the service validity of its low-cost and most popular plan, the ₹99 plan. This plan was considered the best option for those who wanted to keep their SIM active for a low cost. BSNL has made several changes to this plan in the past. Now, the company has again reduced its benefits.
Recently, the ₹99 plan had a validity of 15 days, but last year it was available for 18 days. Now the company has further reduced this to 14 days. This means that the benefits of this plan are gradually decreasing. The company is doing this to increase its revenue and ARPU (Average Revenue Per User). BSNL has been changing the benefits of many older plans, and the ₹99 pack is a prime example of this.
BSNL’s updated ₹99 plan now offers a service validity of 14 days. Users receive 50MB of data and unlimited voice calling. Once the 50MB data limit is reached, internet speeds drop to 40 Kbps, which is only sufficient for basic messaging. When factored into daily costs, this plan now costs ₹7.07 per day, which is considered more expensive than before.
