Ajit Pawar’s Net Worth: A Look at His Crores-Worth Assets, Properties and Cars: Ajit Pawar, popularly known as “Dada” in Maharashtra politics and a record six-time Deputy Chief Minister, is no longer with us. A tragic plane crash in Baramati on Wednesday morning brought his journey to an end. Known for his strong personality and administrative acumen, Ajit Pawar was not only politically powerful but also one of the wealthiest politicians in Maharashtra. According to his last affidavit submitted to the Election Commission, Ajit Pawar and his family had a total net worth of over ₹124 crore.
Ajit Pawar may not have had a life insurance policy (LIC), but his bank balance could surprise anyone. According to the affidavit:
Cash and Bank Deposits: The Pawar family had approximately ₹14.12 lakh in cash and over ₹6.81 crore deposited in various bank accounts. This includes a balance of ₹3 crore each in the accounts of Ajit Pawar and his wife, Sunetra Pawar.
Stock Market Investments: He had invested approximately ₹24 lakh in shares, bonds, and debentures, while his children and wife had also invested millions of rupees.
Jewelry: Pawar owned jewelry worth ₹38 lakh, while Sunetra Pawar possessed a substantial jewelry collection worth ₹1.19 crore.
Land and Luxurious Homes in Baramati:
Ajit Pawar’s true strength was reflected in his immovable property. His empire stretched from Baramati to Mumbai and Delhi:
–Agricultural Land: He and his wife owned agricultural land worth approximately ₹13.21 crore and non-agricultural land worth ₹37 crore.
-Luxurious Residences: Ajit Pawar owned four houses (valued at approximately ₹9 crore), while Sunetra Pawar owned four other flats and houses worth over ₹22 crore. In addition, he owned a commercial building in Pune worth ₹11 crore.
A Fondness for Expensive Vehicles:
Although he appeared to prefer simplicity, his fleet included vehicles such as three trailers, a Toyota Camry, a Honda CR-V, and modern tractors for farming, valued at approximately ₹75 lakh. Ajit Pawar also had debts of around ₹21.39 crore, but this was a small amount compared to his total assets. With his passing, Baramati has lost its wealthiest and most influential son.
