Gold Rate: Gold prices in the domestic futures market are showing a decline on Tuesday, December 16. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the gold futures contract expiring on February 5, 2026, opened at ₹1,33,523 (per 10 grams) on Tuesday. On the previous trading day, gold had closed at ₹1,34,130 on the MCX.
At 10:35 AM on December 16, the February 5th expiry gold contract was trading at ₹1,33,773 on the MCX, representing a decline of approximately ₹360 from the previous day’s closing price. The MCX gold contract had reached a high of ₹1,38,875 in early trading.
