New Week Ahead: Check Bank Closure Dates Before Planning Your Visits: Tomorrow, February 9th, marks the beginning of the second week of February. Throughout this week, banks across the country will be closed for only two days. Banks will be closed on February 14th (the second Saturday of the month) and February 15th (Sunday).

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released a list of approximately nine holidays for all government and private banks, including the State Bank of India (SBI), this month.

Bank Holidays Next Week:
February 14th — Banks will be closed across India due to the second Saturday.
February 15th — Banks will be closed due to Sunday.

Having this information in advance will help you prepare for emergencies or long weekends. However, you can continue to use online or mobile banking services during bank holidays.

You can withdraw cash from ATMs. Apps and UPI services will also remain operational. The annual calendar of bank holidays is declared by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) under the provisions of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
