February 4 Silver Rates: Prices Rise in Domestic and Global Markets: On February 4, silver prices strengthened again in the domestic market. The price of silver in the spot market rose to ₹40,000 per kilogram. In most cities, the price of silver was ₹3,20,000 per kilogram. On the MCX, silver futures rose to approximately ₹2,80,754 per kilogram, an increase of about 4.75 percent from the previous closing price.

This surge comes as a relief to investors after the recent significant volatility. Silver also strengthened in the international market. The price of silver in the spot market reached $86.85 per ounce, registering a gain of approximately 4.3 percent. According to experts, renewed safe-haven buying globally provided support to both gold and silver.

Prices almost the same in cities: Silver rates remained almost the same in major cities across the country. Only minor differences were observed due to local taxes, jewelers’ margins, and logistics costs.
