Know today’s(3rd February) silver rate
Silver Rate Crashed! It saw a drop of ₹1,30,000: Silver prices witnessed a significant drop in the spot market today. The decline in silver prices continues even two days after the budget announcement. On February 3rd, silver became ₹20,000 cheaper. In the Delhi bullion market, the price of one kilogram of silver fell to ₹2,80,000. At the beginning of last week, the price of one kilogram of silver had crossed ₹4,10,000. However, comparing today’s price (February 3rd) to the peak price, the price of silver has fallen by ₹1,30,000 per kilogram in the last 10 days.
International Market Prices: On February 3rd, silver prices saw a sharp rise in the international market. On COMEX, silver reached $83.79 per ounce, which is about 8.8 percent higher than the previous closing price. This indicated that buying interest might return to the market after the decline. However, the picture was slightly different in the domestic market. On MCX, silver futures closed at ₹2,32,500 per kilogram on Tuesday. This was about 1.6 percent lower than the previous closing price. A strong dollar and profit-taking continued to put pressure on the domestic market.
