Silver Prices Crash Ahead of Budget, Fall by Rs 45,000: Silver prices have crashed ahead of the budget. The price of silver has fallen by ₹45,000 in a single day. In major Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Jaipur, the price of one kilogram of silver has dropped to ₹3,50,000, down from a high of ₹4,10,000 per kilogram just a few days ago. Silver prices witnessed a sharp decline on Friday, 30th January. This is attributed to weakness in the international market and the strengthening of the US dollar.
Silver Prices in Major Indian Cities on January 31, 2025: There was not much difference in silver prices across different cities in the country. While there were minor variations due to local taxes, Jewellers’ margins, and logistics costs, the overall rates remained largely the same.
