Odisha Assembly Session Begins Feb 17, State Budget on Feb 20
Odisha Budget on Feb 20, Assembly Session Starts Feb 17: The budget session of the Assembly will begin on the 17th. The session, which will last till April 8, will be held in two phases. It has a total of 28 working days. The first phase will be from the 17th to the 24th. The second phase will begin on March 9. The budget for the financial year 2026-27 will be presented on February 20. This will be the third full budget of the BJP government.
The Governor will deliver his address in the House on February 17. The Motion of Thanks will be discussed on the Governor’s speech on the 18th and 19th. After the budget is presented on the 20th, there will be a general discussion on the budget on the 23rd and 24th. The expenditure demands of various departments will be discussed from March 10th to 30th and the Appropriation Bill will be passed on March 31st.
