Over 1.78 Lakh New Women Get Subhadra Assistance
Subhadra Money Reaches Lakhs of Women Beneficiaries: Funds under the Subhadra scheme were credited to the bank accounts of both defaulting and newly added beneficiaries. The distribution was carried out in the presence of the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister during the official Independence Day programme.
The Chief Minister disbursed financial assistance worth over ₹325 crore, benefiting more than 4.57 lakh women across the state. This included 1,78,398 new women beneficiaries, who received the assistance for the first time.
Additionally, 2.55 lakh beneficiaries received payments related to the first and second instalments of the scheme. The government said the initiative aims to strengthen financial support for women and ensure wider coverage under the welfare programme.
