PM Kisan Yojana 22nd Instalment: Know the date
PM Kisan Yojana: The central government is soon going to release the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. Under this installment, an amount of ₹2000 will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of eligible farmers. This scheme was launched to provide financial support to farmers, and so far, millions of families have benefited from it.
The government has indicated that the 22nd installment will soon be credited to farmers’ bank accounts. Every year, farmers receive ₹6,000 in three installments. This amount is transferred directly through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) to avoid any intermediary issues.
Mandatory e-KYC: This time, the government has made it clear that farmers will have to complete e-KYC to receive the installment. The money will not be transferred without e-KYC. The good news is that farmers can now complete e-KYC through face authentication. This means they won’t have to deal with the hassle of OTPs or fingerprints. The process can be completed simply by scanning their face with a mobile phone.
Convenience for Farmers: Many farmers previously faced problems with OTPs or Aadhaar linking. Especially in rural areas, network issues made OTP verification difficult. Face authentication will simplify this process, allowing farmers to receive their installments without any trouble.
Importance of the Scheme: The PM Kisan Yojana has become a vital support system for farmers. Amidst rising farming costs and unpredictable weather, this annual amount of ₹6000, while not a large sum, provides much-needed relief for small farmers. It helps them cover expenses such as seeds, fertilizers, and other essential costs.
