Gold Rate Today: Gold prices in the domestic futures market are showing an upward trend on Tuesday, January 6. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the gold futures contract expiring on February 5, 2026, opened at ₹1,38,666 (per 10 grams) on Tuesday. On the previous trading day, gold had closed at ₹1,38,120 on the MCX.
At 9:50 AM on January 6, the February 5 expiry gold contract was trading at ₹1,38,554 on the MCX, representing an increase of approximately ₹450 from the previous day’s closing price. The MCX gold contract reached a high of ₹1,38,776 in early trading.
