Good News for the Public: ATMs to Soon Give ₹10, ₹20 and ₹50 Notes

₹10, ₹20, ₹50 Notes to Be Available at ATMs Soon, Government Prepares: Many people face problems when they have a ₹500 note but no change to buy tea, vegetables, or pay for an auto. To solve this issue, the central government is working on a new solution.

Hybrid ATMs will be installed that can dispense ₹10, ₹20, and ₹50 notes. These ATMs will also allow people to exchange large notes for smaller ones.

The scheme has started in Mumbai, and such ATMs are being set up in busy places like markets, railway stations, bus stands, hospitals, and government offices.

Although digital payments are growing, many people still depend on cash. Small denomination notes are especially important for daily wage workers, shopkeepers, and commuters.

The RBI will support this plan by increasing the printing of smaller notes. The aim is to make cash easily available, not to reduce its use.
